As parents of 5 children ourselves, we relate to many of the struggles other parents face. Our children range from preschool to college ages, and definitely keep us on our toes!
Our backgrounds include USCG Veteran, higher education, real estate, & marketing.

Hi! My name is Ryan Pevney and I am a senior at San Marcos High School. I am a pitcher on the Varsity Baseball team, love to go to the beach, and watch sports. Education has always been an important aspect of my life, as I always strive to be the best I can in the classroom. History has always been my strongest and favorite subject, but I am also strong in math and literature. I look forward to meeting and working with you and your child so they can grow to the best of their capabilities.

Hi! My name is Kaylin Ocheltree and I am a junior at San Marcos High School. I have always been very academically driven and am a member of the National Honors Society. Outside of school, I am a Cheerleader and heavily involved in my community through the Girl Scouts program, ASB, and various volunteer organizations. I love to get outside and go camping, hiking, and swimming and spend time with friends and family. I love helping others and I am a very collaborative person. I look forward to working with you and your child!

Growing up with undiagnosed ADHD, and now raising two children with ADHD... I've learned a trick or two when trying to stay focused and organized with school work. I'm a fan of LOGICAL thinking, and not just formulas. My tutoring typically involves a lot of hands-on and awesome stick figure drawings to help the student visualize what is being asked.
I also help students with getting (and staying) organized, time blocking, study habits that make sense to their brain, and balancing school, home, and fun! I look forward to meeting and working with your student!
